Andrew initially went to university for Computer Science but his passion for ancient literature and history ultimately led him to the study of Chinese Medicine. He went to Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the first founded Traditional Chinese Medicine school in Mainland China, in 2003. His study consisted of a 5 year undergraduate program and a 3 year postgraduate program. During his study, he learnt from several TCM professionals in treating respiratory diseases, digestive diseases and postoperative cancer treatment. After graduation, he worked as a TCM doctor in Nanjing Post Hospital and a private clinic for 3 years before returning to Canada in 2013.

 

Andrew is a registered member of The College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMAO) and is qualified to practice Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture in the province of Ontario. He is experienced in treating various conditions using combination of acupuncture and herbs. During his practice, he has success treating cold and fever, coughing, sore throat, vertigo, indigestion, irregular bowel movement, insomnia, tinnitus, headache, shoulder pain, back pain and sciatic pain.
